1st School Dance

Sydney had her first school dance, the father daughter snow ball. It was so cold that night there was a possibility it could have snowed. Crazy considering it's California and was 75 degrees last week and today, a week later. I promised My grandma I would get a corsage for Sydney and boutonniere for Matt. So here they are.

I think they were pretty amazing if I do say so my self. The pink flower for the corsage matched the flower on her dress perfectly. She was such a ham for the few photos she let me take, but oh so adorable.

She was much more concerned about cleaning her shoes so they would be "most beautiful" for the dance. She spent almost 20 minutes and about 5 baby wipes making sure they looked amazing.

Matt said she ran off and played with her friends most of the time. He didn't really get to dance with her, she danced a little with her friends. She is a little social butterfly already. They were "fashionably late" as Matt would say, I would say lost, but they made it and had a great time that's all that really matters.

The "posed" photo from the dance, I expected messy hair and silly smiles.

She even got a late night treat and we all went out to eat after the dance. It was cold, drizzling, late and Sydney nearly fell asleep before we were done eating. She didn't even want dessert, I am sure that's a sign she had a great time.
